About

I'm Amit, a Cloud Data Engineer based in Pune with four years of hands-on experience building and operating data infrastructure for connected fleets. My core work sits at the intersection of IoT ingestion and cloud data platforms — the systems that turn a physical bike's sensor readings into something a business can query, trust and act on.

Day to day, that means provisioning IoT devices at scale with X.509 certificates, designing MQTT-to-cloud ingestion paths through AWS IoT Core, and administering Snowflake environments that power downstream analytics — from Snowpipe ingestion to warehouse performance tuning.

I'm currently expanding into containerized infrastructure and IaC — Docker, Terraform, ECR and EKS — to round out a cloud engineering profile built for the next stage of my career.

EV Bike Fleet — IoT Telemetry Platform

PRODUCTION

Production-grade ingestion platform for a large electric-bike fleet. Sensor data streams over MQTT via 4G/LTE into AWS IoT Core, then fans out to time-series, archival and operational stores — with X.509 certificates provisioned directly into bike firmware for secure device identity at scale.

Fleet Rental Analytics — Snowflake Pipeline

PRODUCTION

End-to-end analytics pipeline for rental transaction data across the fleet. A Python data generator simulates realistic rental activity at scale; transactions land in S3 and are ingested continuously into Snowflake via Snowpipe for downstream reporting and business analytics.
